Proximity Cards Information

• The MU parking ramp uses proximity cards to grant entry and exit.
• New permit holders will need to purchase a proximity access card for the parking ramp for a one-time fee of $10.
• There is a $20 replacement fee for lost or stolen proximity cards.
• Cards are limited to use for one vehicle only

Rates:

• Annual Permits: Valid 7/1/2026 - 6/30/2027 - $721 
• Summer 2026 Permits: Valid 05/18/2026 - 08/09/2026 - $259 
• Fall 2026 Permits: Valid 08/17/2026 - 12/20/2026 - $312 

Memorial Union Parking Passes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are a current permit holder, you must submit a request every year. No refunds will be issued for purchased permits. 

MU Parking Ramp Rules/Policies:

• The speed limit within the MU Parking Ramp is 5 mph.
• All cars must park between the line in designated spaces; cars that park improperly, over the lines, or take up two spaces are subject to towing.
• On rare occasions, the Memorial Union may temporarily close the parking ramp as necessary. The Memorial Union shall give advance notice of such temporary closing, restriction, or reassignment by email or otherwise, when practical. No refunds will be issued during the temporary closing or reduction of parking available within the parking ramp.
• Parking access expires at the end of the term of your permit; there are not automatic renewals of parking access.
